The ADF's first Squirrel, this aircraft was delivered to the RAAF on 28 February 1984 and initially served with the ADF Helicopter School at RAAF Fairbairn. In October 2000 it was transferred to the RAN, still in it's original blue and white colour scheme. It currently serves with 723 Squadron at HMAS Albatross, Nowra. It was one of two Squirrels displaying as 'Taipan' at the Australian International Airshow. This photo is copyright © Phil Vabre, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
