This S-61 was with Carson Helicopters as N4240S from new in 1979. Several leases in it's history before it came to Canada more permanently as C-FTVI with VIH Helicopters in 2009. Kootenay Valley Helicopters acquired the helicopter in 2015, registering it C-GWTX. Note this is one of many S-61Ns that had the forward fuselage shortened to raise payload capability.
