slide scan from the NK collection. - THY Turkish Airlines acquired ten new DC-9-32's from Douglas and operated them between 1968 and 1994. One (TC-JAC) was lost in an accident near Adana, Turkey in 1972; the remaining nine aircraft were sold to Valujet in 1994. TC-JAB was the first of these DC-9-32's, and it finally saw some services with AirTran until being scrapped in 2004. This photo was added on 29 July 2021, and has since been viewed 2191 times. |
