First delivered to the USAAF as C-47B 44-76925 in May 1945; RAF as Dakota IV KN611 June 1945; Fields as G-ANAS and Africair as ZS-DHY, both July 1953; Wenela as VP-YSM Oct 1960; re-reg'd A2-ZEM Aug 1968; Air Travel of Botswana Oct 1977; Westonaria Skydiving as ZS-KIV Feb 1979; Interocean Airways as C9-ASQ June 1987; Pretoria Air Services as ZS-KIV April 1997; Wimbi Dira Airways as 9Q-CWI Dec 2003. Written off Kalima-Kakungwa Airport, DRC 19 June 2005 when it bounced on landing and ground looped, tearing off one gear and one engine. Wreck is still visible at 4º 1' 34" S 27º 59' 30.2" E.
