This An-2 was originally '451' with the East German AF and was in service by January 1957. It was damaged on the ground at Garz when hit by An-2 '450'. The plane was SOC in October 1990 and allocated to the German AF as '5403' although in the end this was not taken up. Instead, in December 1992 it became D-FKMB and is pictured here departing off rw30 at this super fly-in. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
