24 October 1967: TOS USN. 1968 to 1973: Served with various aircraft carrier squadrons flying combat missions over Vietnam. 1973: After returning from Vietnam, the plane was repaired and reworked at Long Beach, CA. 12/73: Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels). 1986: Placed in storage. 1990: National Museum of Naval Aviation.
