One of Air Cal's airplanes merged into American Airline's fleet in July 1987. Formerly N146AC, it was re-registered and painted in a facsimile of Americans silver colors in January 1989. Sold to Malmo Aviation in August 1992, it was registered SE-DRB and remained in Sweden until returned to BAe Systems in 2002 and stored at Exeter. The aircraft was scrapped in 2008.
