Initially registered N2922U, this 1963 Cessna 172 was imported new for the Tasmanian Aero Club of Launceston, their first Cessna 172, and re-registered VH-DIN(2) on 24 October 1963. It was sold into private hands in 1973 and is currently based at Tyabb, Vic. It had recently had a repaint when this shot was taken at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's Auster Rally.
