1966: TOS USMC and assigned to VMA(AW)-202, at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. 11/66: Deployed to Da Nang Vietnam until 9/70 when the squadron was transferred to MCAS El Toro, CA. 1971: VA-85, NAS Whidbey Island, WA. 12/73: Upgraded to A-6E. 1977: VA-128, NAS Whidbey. 2/79: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ for storage. By 1990: TOS USN and upgraded under SWIP. By 1991: VA-176 aboard the USS Forrestal, flying missions in Operation Desert Storm. 1993-1994: VA-85.
