This Widgeon was owned by the J. Ray McDermott Co. of Harvey, LA. in 1969. It had been modified with Continental O-470 engines in 1955. The McDermott Co. used Widgeons for supporting oil rigs along the coastal inland areas of the Louisiana coast.
