VH-UAH flew with Kingsford Smith Flying School from 1934 to 1941. During this time it suffered two significant accidents. The wreckage was sold after the second, at Ettalong Beach on November 13, 1941, with the intention UAH be rebuilt. It never was. When it was placed on floats is not known. The photo is over Botany Bay, which adjoins what was then Mascot airport and is now Sydney International Airport. This photo was added on 4 September 2021, and has since been viewed 404 times. |
