This PT-17-BW was built to a USAAC order as 41-8706. Post-war it was civilianised, becoming N61986. It was sold to Australia in August 1985 and, following restoration, was added to the Australian Register on 25 October 1988. Seen here arriving at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's Auster Rally from home base in South Australia.
