This Auster is operated by the owner of the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary in South Australia's Flinders Ranges. It was imported new and registered VH-KCJ on 3 January 1957. In the 1970s it spent some time with the Bathurst Soaring Club as a glider tug, as many Austers were in those days. It's seen here attending the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's Auster Rally. This photo is copyright © Phil Vabre, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
