Here on delivery ferry and flew with Northeast until 1964 when it was registered to Charlie Rich of country music fame. Eventually it ended up as XA-SCM in June 1992 and was destroyed on 27 July 1992 when it was flown into mountains on approach to Mexico City. [Minuscule registrations like the one here (upper of two center stripes) were eventually banned by the FAA.] This photo was added on 4 October 2021, and has since been viewed 507 times. |
