1968: TOS USAF and assigned to 6510th Test Wing Edwards Air Force Base, CA. 1978: Technical Training Command, Chanute AFB, Rantoul, IL, to be used as a ground instruction trainer. It was then redesignated as GA-7D. When Chanute closed in 1993, the plane was given to the city of Danville, IL, who turned it over to the local VFW post.
