Built as a B-25J-30-NC, serial 44-86727, later redesignated as a TB-25J. It was transferred to the RCAF as a Mitchell Mk.III, serial number 5230. Fitted with spray bars at this time, this would usually indicate use as an agricultural sprayer. However, the owner of the aircraft at this time was Meteorology Operations Inc., which would lead to speculation that the aircraft was used in airborne fog dispersal efforts.
