Built for the USAF as 44-31171, this photo shows it following a repaint as "34064 / 8U"

Painted in the markings of Jimmy Doolittle's Mitchell, this is in fact 44-30854 which was the last B-25 in the USAF inventory and made the final flight of the type when ferried from Turner AFB to Eglin for preservation in May 1960. It is on loan from the National Museum of the USAF, that has its own B-25 painted to represent Doolittle's machine, which ran out of fuel after the famous raid on Tokyo from USS Hornet in April 1942. Delivered to the USAAF as 43-27868. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ by 1958. Sold in 1959 and registered as N9077Z in 1960 and converted to an agricultural sprayer. To the Confederate Air Force in 1979 and rebuilt to military configuration. Reregistered as N25YR in 1981. They were renamed to the Commemorative Air Force in 2002.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-29835. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ by 1958. Sold in 1959 and registered as N3676G. To the Confederate Air Force in 1967. Stored at Harlingen, TX from 1977. Trucked to Lackland AFB in 1980, restored and placed on display.

This B-25 was intended for the USAAF as 44-30988 but entered service in March 1945 with the USN as 35857. Its service life was short being retired in March 1947 but by July was flying for the Saint Louis Flying Service as N5865V. Then followed a long list of owners and operators before arriving at the Commemorative AF SoCal Wing to begin a decades-long, deep restoration. In May 2016 the first post-restoration flight took place with the plane painted to represent VMB-611 B-25 35243/MB 11, which was lost along with its seven man crew during a strike on the Kibawe Trail near Davao in May 1945.

"Panchito" passing through smoke from pyrotechnics at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024. This aircraft was constructed as a B-25J-17-NC at Kansas City. It was taken on charge by the USAAF with s/n 44-30734 in Feb 1945. It went into storage and was then taken on charge by the USAF. Re-designated as TB-25J, it was used for pilot, navigator and bombardier training. In 1954 the aircraft went to the 102nd Radar Calibration Flight with New York ANG. It was converted to a TB-25N in Apr 1955 and struck off charge in Dec 1959. The original "Panchito" was flown by 396th BS, 41st BG in the Pacific.

Ferried over from the USA to the UK in May 1978 to take part in the filming of the movie Hanover Street, in which it appeared with Big Bad Bonnie nose art. It was flown back to the USA in July/August 1986 and was loaned to March Field Air Museum for a time, but at the time of this photo it had been stored at Chino since 1990. It is shown as current on the USCAR but its whereabouts and status is unknown.

Delivered in March 1945, 44-31032 was placed in storage after WWII. Re-activated in 1947, it was used as a trainer until stored in 1957 and struck off strength in 1958. Sold in the 1960s as N3174G, is was one of the B-25s used in the 1970 movie Catch 22. Acquired by collector David Tallichet in 1971, it was stored at his compound at Chino, CA. In 1982 it moved to March AFB for display, undergoing restoration and several later paint schemes, a dorsal turret was also added.
