First registered in 1946 and flew with British European Airways until 1953. At this time it was with Fairey Aviation, later Fairey Surveys. In 1971 it was exported to the USA and on 11 August 2018 when N683DH (Photo ID 213450) it crashed on take-off from Abbotsford (CYXX) suffering severe damage to the forward fuselage.
