One of 194 basic trainers delivered to equip the IAF (72), Indian Navy (12) and NCC (110), this microlight named "Garud" takes effortlessly to the morning sky prior to the 89th Air Force Day at Hindon AFS. Made from advanced carbon-fibre composite materials, the microlight is powered by an 80 hp Rotax 912 UL engine, requiring just 140m to take off.
