This early DC-8 was delivered to United Airlines December 28, 1959 as N8012U. Upgraded from a DC-8-11 to a -12 in 1964 before sold to Boeing in 1977. The aircraft was converted to a DC-8-20 in 1978 and leased to Concord International Airlines (N579JC) February - September 1979. After MPA - Michigan Peninsula Airways eased it September 1979 - January 1983, the aircraft was stored at Marana, AZ until broken up in 1985.
