This a/c has the Del Mar RADOP (Radio/Optical) target towing system installed. The targets fit into the underwing funnel shaped assemblies. The two pods under the fuselage (one for each wing system) contain the wire reels which allow the targets to be streamed many thousands of feet behind the a/c.
