1971: TOS USN and assigned to Attack Squadron 147 (VA-147), NAS Lemoore, CA. The squadron then deployed with this plane aboard the USS Constellation for combat in South Vietnam. When the plane returned in June 1972 it was assigned to VA-22, also from NAS Lemoore. 1972 to 1974: Deployed aboard the USS Coral Sea three times for combat in South Vietnam. 1980: VA-93, NAS Yokosuka, Japan. Ca.1982: VA-94, NAS Lemoore. By 1983: VA-146, NAS Lemoore. 1984: VA-97, NAS Lemoore.
