The Wessex HAS.31 (later upgraded to HAS.31B) was a specialist anti-submarine version, of which 27 were constructed for the RAN. This one made its first flight on 20 December 1962 and served for 27 years until withdrawn on 31 December 1989. It is currently in open storage at the National Vietnam Veteran's Museum.
