Originally built for Braathens SAFE as LN-SUD in 1952 and first registered in the UK to Manx Airlines in 1957 then Silver City. It later flew with Overseas Air Transport, as here, and Mercury Airlines before export to Sierra Leone as 9L-LAL in 1968. Restored to the UK in April 1975 and exported as ZK-EJM in September 1976. On 9 May 1977 it was damaged beyond repair while landing at Ardmore (NZAR). This photo was added on 27 November 2021, and has since been viewed 464 times. |
