Heli Bernina, founded in 1985 by Hansueli Baerfuss (a swiss helicopter pioneer) and Leo Caminada, is a small but successful helicopter operator based at Samedan Airport. In 1991, the company took delivery of the first AS-350B2 helicopters painted in an all yellow livery. This color became HB's "brand" and has been applied to all new AS350B3's. HB-ZIS shown here was built in 2008 and flew for Heli Bernina till June 4, 2013, when it was sold to fellow swiss operator Air Glaciers based in Lauterbrunnen.
