This Mitchell is in fact 44-29366 and never saw active service, rather was used only for pilot training after WWII. Her good flying condition resulted in film roles such as 'Catch 22' and 'Hanover Street' before arriving at the RAF Museum in 1982. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
