This OH-6A saw combat in Vietnam from August 1968 through February 1970. One of the assignments was with C Troop, 16th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Air Division, which is the markings it currently wears. After returning to the U.S. it was assigned in 1972 to the US Army Aviation Precision Demonstration Team Silver Eagles. The Silver Eagles were based at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
