Western Airlines flew passengers with this Electra (N9744C) from February 1961 until the end of 1968 when it was converted to a freighter. Next with Reeve Aleutian Airways September 1970 - September 2002, although the airline ceased flying in 2000. For Atlantic Airways the registration G-LOFH was allocated but never used. Registered N4HG to a trust company, the engines were used by the airline on other Electras. Stored at Coventry, it was made flyable and sold to Buffalo Airways in 2011 to become C-FIJV. Stored at Red Deer still in RAA colors, it has provided parts for their flyable L-188s. This photo is copyright © Gary Vincent, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
