Canadair Sabre 5 marked in 416 "City of Oshawa" Squadron colors. The squadron operated the type at Grostenquin, France 1952 - 57 as part of Canada's NATO commitment. The fighter is pictured displayed in Airman's Park, adjacent to the Royal Canadian Air Force Association building at the airport's south entrance.
