Icelandic flew a number of stretched DC-8's leased from Seaboard World in the early 1970's. This short body DC-8-54 was the only airplane I saw with an Icelandic registration. It was parked outside Lockheed Air Service's hangars 1/2 getting some maintenance between flights. This photo is copyright © Ralph M.
