This former US Army U-6A, 58-2008, later served with the Civil Air Patrol as N5345G until exported to Canada in June 1979 and registered C-GRYG. For most of its Canadian career, this Beaver has been used to transport guests from a base near Port Loring, Ontario to fly-in fishing and wilderness in the surrounding area. The first Canadian owner was Rog-Air Ltd. (1979-1995), the Rogerson's Enterprises Ltd (1995-1996), and finally Tornados Air Services Inc., which also flies a Found Brothers FBA-2C1, C-GINA. In recent years (and during the Covid-19) the aircraft has wintered at Orillia Airport. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I. Swartz, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
