Quite a rare type in Australia (only 41 built in total and two in Australia), this Mooney PFM with the short-lived Porsche PFM 3200 aero engine was built in 1988 (the last but one on the production line). It was originally registered in the USA as N5257G and re-registered in Australia as VH-JGD on 21 March 1990.
