The badge on the tail is the 48 TFW Statue of Liberty version. The wing had recently relocated from Chaumont-Semoutiers to RAF Lakenheath after France left NATO. The aircraft was retired to MASDC in 1979 converted to QF-100F drone, lasting until 1990. This photo was added on 4 January 2022, and has since been viewed 1522 times. |
