Former Royal Canadian Air Force 104890 (stricken with the Canadians on 23 May 1973 with 1,748 flight hours, was delivered to Norway on 9 October 1974. It started to serve 334 skv. The Starfighter was withdrawn from use on 12 January 1983 and stored at Sola Air Base with 3,135 flight hours. The 104 was moved to Bodø in 1994 and even carried a fake U-2 Dragon Lady nose section. In 1995 that nose was gone and it was prepped for the Bodø museum was never put on display. From February 2014, it has been used as a instruction airframe for use in factory ammunition tests at Raufoss (Norway).
