What is known about this aircraft is that it served with the Royal Flying Corps before being transferred to 1 Squadron, Australian Flying Corps. The soldiers appear to a mix of Australian light horsemen and New Zealand mounted riflemen. 1 Squadron's role was to work closely with Australian and New Zealand mounted soldiers and this photo would appear to be from that period. The caption says Egypt but may be Palestine (Israel). 4332 was withdrawn from use at the start of 1917.
