Delivered to CP Air November 2, 1981, this was one of three DC-10-30s leased to United Airlines from March 1983 to May 1987. United converted all three DC-10s to ER configuration to operate their new Seattle / Portland to Tokyo service. Returned to Canadian Airlines, the aircraft's last revenue flight was on February 27, 2000 as the airline's new owner, Air Canada, removed DC-10s from the fleet.
