"Clipper Racer" soon after repainting in Pan Am's second postwar scheme with white top and larger 'PAA' on the fin. Ex USAAF C-54G 45-534, converted by Douglas to civil C54G-DC in 1947 (conversion #80) and delivered to Pan Am in May 1947. Returned to the USAF in November 1953 as 45-534. Stored at DM from September 1972 and broken up. Obtained from Pan Am in the 1950s. This photo was added on 16 February 2018, and has since been viewed 5300 times. |
