Ex USAAF 43-49036. Delivered to SABENA as OO-AUW in July 1946 and operated by the Force Belge Metropolitaine in Belgian Congo 1951-1953. Sold to BIAS in July 1965. Operated by LINAIR in Libya 1968-1972 still as OO-AUW and withdrawn and stored at Brussels in October 1972. Sold in the US as N6903 in July 1973 and became XB-DIY in December 1973. Returned to the US register as N6903 in October 1977 and withdrawn from use at Long Beach. Sold to a Mc Allen TX. owner in 1979. Registration finally cancelled in 2013. Presumed scrapped.
