The second Auster operated by Southend-based Rochford Hundred Flying Group, having replaced their Auster 5D G-ANHX. It was written-off in a non-fatal crash in the Jura Mountains above Chézery, France on 19th August 1972 while en route from Geneva to Macon. It was cancelled from the UK Register as 'destroyed' on 3rd October 1972. This photo is copyright © Mike Cain, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
