First flown in October 2002 as D-AVYB and delivered as N866MX to Mexicana in December 2002. Withdrawn in 2010 and leased to Aerogal in January 2011. Aerogal merged with Avianca and the aircraft continued to fly with Avianca Ecuador until August 2016 after which it was leased to Flynas of Saudi Arabia as VP-CYE.
