With BOAC / British Airways 1965 - 1981, this Super VC-10 was among the fourteen remaining in the BA fleet when sold to the Royal Air Force. G-ASGF was given RAF serial ZD234 but broken up for parts at RAF Brize Norton in 1982. The cockpit section was reserved for use as a simulator and given maintenance serial 8700M.
