This is the third C-27J and carries an Italian Air Force experimental registration as it has been used for certification work. The C-27J has been designed to use the similar engines, avionics and cockpit layout to the C-130J Hercules. It was at Avalon for the Australian International Airshow and its aerobatic display routine was quite impressive.
