The registration marked on this aircraft is fake and remembers former Rex engineer Phil South, who passed away. It is really the former VH-OLN with mocked-up landing gear and a few other parts. Test flown by SAAB in Sep 1990 as SE-G07 & delivered to Australia where it was flown on a demonstration tour before handed over to Hazelton. Re-reg VH-OLN on 5 Nov. Joined Rex fleet in Aug '02 when Hazleton sold following Ansett collapse. Retired in Feb '08 & used for parts. Now at the Australian Airline Pilot Academy.
