This aircraft was initially allocated the US registration N2861P but probably never wore it as it was imported new for the Lutheran Mission, Madang, and registered VH-BUX on 10 October 1955 (New Guinea was then an Australian territory). It was later operated by the Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF) and is today based at Riddell's Creek, Victoria. It's seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in where it won 'Best Classic'.
