25 Apr '41: TOS USAAC. Only US military aircraft to fly a combat mission on the first day of the US entry into WWII and remain in continuous military flying service throughout WWII. 7 Dec '41: Flew on the first U.S. combat mission in the Philippines and then had a long history in the war. 1/49: Donated to the National Air Museum. Lots of changes in storage locations. 4/61: Transported to the Paul Garber Restoration Facility in Silver Hill, MD, for future restoration. 2008: Transported to the NMUSAF in sections by rail in 2008 where restoration began in 2010.
