One of 100 UK-built Tigers taken on by the RAAF in Feb 1940, it retained its RAF serial N9140. Served with 2, 7 & 11 EFTS until disposed of in Jul 1947. Civil registered 1948 as VH-BND. Acquired by Super Spread 1955, converted to single-seat ag-Tiger & re-reg VH-SSP. Retired & SOR 1964 but rebuilt and registered VH-ABL(3) in Aug 1969.
