Following its deployment to Alconbury (UK) with the 1st TRS, this RF-4C was transferred to the 38th TRS at Zweibrucken (Germany). It was retired and placed into storage at AMARC with inventory code FP0664 from 22 April 1991 up to 11 April 2012. The recce Phantom became a QRF-4C with the 82nd ATRS as AF406TD.
