Following its deployment to Alconbury (UK) with the 1st TRS, this RF-4C became an instructional airframe at Aviano (Italy) up to late 1991. The recce Phantom was placed into storage to AMARC with inventory code FP0792 from 9 December 1991 to July 2008. It was brought back to life as QFR-4C with the 82nd ATRS as AF369. The Phantom was shot down as an aerial target on 7 November 2012. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
