The Ceres is an agricultural conversion of the CAC Wirraway advance trainer. This aircraft was built in 1960 and initially registered VH-CEK. However it was almost immediately re-registered in the Super Spread Aviation 'block' as VH-SSY. It had a long career with various subsequent operators, spending time on and off the Register, until donated to the Drage Airworld Museum at Wangaratta in 1985. Currently airworthy and owned by Doug Hamilton. This photo is copyright © Phil Vabre, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
