Spun in and crashed on approach to Prince George, British Columbia on July 3, 1948. This aircraft was registered to Central B.C. Airways and had been for almost the entire time it was on the register. It is not known why BC is missing from the name on the aircraft. At that time in Canada, Central Airways was a Toronto based flying school owned by the Wong brothers.
